I have watched many interviews with Dolly Parton from various people.

This set of interviews is probably some of the best I have seen lately.

Dr. Steve Salvatore a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician that has served as the health expert on PIX11 Morning News since 2005.

Dr Steve interviewed Dolly and talked about many stories I have never heard about Dolly. Like the story of their family pet rooster Henny Penny and that she has a scar on her leg.  She told the story of  having only one nipple in the house. Urine being used to cure an ear ailement and many more. Well worth the minutes to view these videos.

The last part of the third video Dolly shows off.  She tells Dr. Steve how hot she thinks he is. Dolly at 66 years old is never at a loss of words.

This coming January Dolly Parton is going to star in her first major movie since Straight Talk in 1992.

iTunes has just released the first trailer for Warner Brothers’ upcoming, heartwarming film “Joyful Noise” starring Dolly Parton, Queen Latifah, Jeremy Jordan, Courtney B. Vance, Dexter Darden, Kris Kristofferson, and Keke Palmer.  (Watch the movie preview below.)

Hitting theaters January 13th, 2012, “Joyful Noise” follows an unlikely partnership between two women (Latifah and Parton) who must work together to save a small town choir from being shut down.

The plot of the movie is after the untimely death of a small-town choir director in Georgia, Vi Rose Hill, a no-nonsense mother of two teens (Latifah) takes control of the choir, although the director’s widow G.G. Sparrow (Parton) believes she should have been given the position. Budget problems threaten to close down the choir. Ultimately, the two women overcome their differences and steer the choir toward a slot in the annual national “Joyful Noise” choir competition. Meanwhile, a romance between Vi’s daughter Olivia (Palmer) and the widow’s grandson Randy (Jordan) ensues.

Tonight 60 Minutes did a nice interview with my iconic hero Dolly Parton.

I have never seen her tear up on TV.  Notice that she never let her mascara run.  I never have heard the “pig” story either.  That story is somewhat strange, but leave it to Dolly.

What do we have to learn from people like Dolly Parton?

By the way her funky pink rocker at the Cracker Barrel stores are not selling well.  The Henderson KY Store Still has number 16 of 1350.
